Seat was firm in the saddle. Hands held on tight to the reins. Helmet fit right on my head. I sat with my back nice and straight. And my legs laying long at my mares sides. Heelstouching her sides gently behind her girth. Seeing almost motion less.
Urging my blood stained mare into a canter. Feeling eahc step of her three beated stide. My eyes looking right at her ears. Seeing that her boa arched just right. Her auds perked right up and forwards.
Feeling her body move quickly under my body. Letting her go into a short hand gallop. But then I moved her back down. Letting her reins drop as we cantered around. THne I eased her down to a nice easy trot and then to a walk. My hands on my hips, as we walked around once more. Then I straighted my back up just right. And leaned back easy. Feeling her stop then back right under me. Then I brought my body right up striaght over her. Feeling her halt. And then I took my foot out of the right stirrup. Letting my leg go over. Then sliding my body right down. Grabbing onto her reins. I lead her over to the gait. Letting her stand right there, as I walked over to her side.
Unsnapping her girth from both sides. Then satting the girth right on top of her saddle. Slipping it off of her back. And walking over to the gate. Satting it right on top. And then I grabbed her lead rope. And set it onto her withers. Then I slipped her reins over her head. And unsnapped her bridle. Slipping that over her head and the bit out of her mouth. Letting her stand there licking at her lips. And then I put her bridle onto of her saddle. Then I turned and walked back over to her.
Setting my hand right on her neck. But just a tad bit in front of her withers. Holding onto her mane with both hands. I volted onto her back. Tying the lead rope together. I held onto the lead rope. Like they were reins. But keeping the loose on her neck. Urging her to walk.
Her head was flat with her body. Walking around. Wondering when someone would come and join us soon. But her body continued to move. With my hips going with hers. And my hands set on her withers for a moment, as we walked around.

Eleanor led Atropine into a gentle trot as the rider and mare entered the arena. Atropine was just getting used to riding again, after the birth of Aftershock. The 5 year old Missouri Fox Trotter/Morgan cross was still kind of sore, but after a few laps of the arena, she felt as good as new again. Eleanor spotted the other girl, on her horse, and waved over to them, before walking Atropine over to the pair. Eleanor cleared her throat and spoke.
"Hello, I'm Eleanor. And this is Atropine, but you can just call her Pine."
She grinned, and waited for the girl to speak.
Atropine smiled over to the other mare, wanting to be friendly and make friends. So she smiled and spoke.
"Hello. I'm Atropine. What's your name?"[yes, horses can speak, but only to each other, so.....]
Pine yawned softly, and then looked back to Star, waiting for an answer to come from the others muzzle.

My body styed straight up. Orbs looking around towards the gate. Seeing a mare and her rider coming into the arena. Then I could see them coming up to me. And with a smile on my face I looked at her. Hearing her name and her horse's name come into my ears.
"Hello, My name is Sue, and this is my mare Shining Star. But you can call her Star."
I replied as I looked at her with a smile upon my face.
Star turned and looked at the mare. Nodding her head to her, as she stood there looking at the mare. "My name is Shining Star. But you can call me Star for short." She said as she looked at the mare.

Eleanor listened and nodded as the girl spoke. She patted Atropine on the neck, and fiddled with her mane, as she replied.
"Nice to meet you Sue. And you too Star."
She laughed gently and leaned forward to stroke Star on the nose, before sitting back in the saddle, and speaking again.
"So, tell me about yourself Sue. Why did you come to Oakhurst Stables? Did you want to turn Star into a top athlete?"
She grinned, and waited for Sue's reply.
Atropine nodded at Star and grinned, before replying.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Star. Some find my name too long, so you can just call me Pine."
Pine smiled and giggled softly, and then looked back to the other mare, waiting for something to happen.

I looked at Eleanor as I went with my arabian mares stiride. With my auds perked upon my head, as I looked over at Eleanor. Patting at her boa, as I sat straight in the saddle.
"Well the barn that I was at before just didn't work with Star. So yea you can say that is why I'm here.
I said as I looked at her for only a moment. And then I looked ahead of me, as I looked infront of me so that I don't run into the fence around the arena.
Nodding my head as I looked at Pine. My auds perked upon my head, as I looked at her. Seeing that she gave me a name for short. But as I looked at her for a seconde. I kept my boa arched, as I looke daournd. "Well I shall call you Pine." I replied, as I looked at her. Wondering what she was going to say next.

[occ: cbb to do coding anymore....too tired.....]
Eleanor nodded, and rummaged around in her bag, finding two bottles of Coke instead of one. She pulled out both of them and offered the other to Sue.
"Awesome. Hey, do you want this? I accidentally packed two, but I'm not all that thirsty."
Her arm still outstretched, she waited.
Pine nodded and grinned.
"So you should. Everyone else does. So, do you have a mate? Foals? Any family here? I have a mate, Solitaire, and I recently birthed a colt from him, who is called Aftershock. But Cheyenne and Eleanor, the humans that own me and Solitaire, are looking after him. Hand rearing, they call it."
She finished talking, and waited.

I reached my hand out and grabbed the coke from her hand. Opening it with Star still walking under me. Letting her stay at the same stride. Drinking the drink. Then I put the top back on it. and held it in my left hand. Holding onto the reins with my right hand.
"Thanks."
I replied as I looked at her. Then I patted Star's boa gently.
Shacking my head back and forthe as I walked. Auds perked upon my head as i looked around at the arena. Then I looked at Pine for a moment. Then I began to speak to her. "No I don't have any of those. But I would like to have a mate and maybe even a foal. But I did have one. But they sold him to someone that I don't eve know who they are." I said as I looked at her. Then I looked around at the arena again, as I walked aorund the arena

Eleanor grinned as the girl took the coke, and then she took another gulp of hers, before screwing the lid and putting it back in her shoulder bag, and then patting Atropine's shoulder, before replying.
"Your welcome. Wanna go through some jumps while we are here?"
She held onto Atropine's reins, as she waited patiently.
Atropine listened as the mare spoke, and replied, smiling.
"Well, Solitaire's off limits! Ha, I'm kidding hun. But I know of a boy. He has two studs. Both Quarter Horses. I never met 'personally' with either of them, but I have seen them about. And there is a girl. With an arabian stud. He's nice, but I have never been bred with him either. Maybe you and him could have a foal. Wouldn't advise to become his mates though. Stud's never make good mates."
She grinned good-naturedly, before standing there. Auds perked. As she waited for a reply to come from the others maw.

Orbs looking as I could see that Star was like all of this being friends with another horse. Not like at the last place where everyone one was after her. And being mean to her.
"Sure. I need to get Star jumping more again."
I said as I looked at Eleanor patting star's boa, as we started near a jump.
Auds perked on my head, as I listened to the other mare's words. Seeing her talk about studs around on the farm. And the one about the other arabian on the land. And with a slight smile on my maw. I began to talk back to her. "I'll hve to look aorund to see what I think about these studs." I laughed as I could feel a pat on my boa.

Eleanor nodded and grinned, listening to Sue's words. She shifted slightly in the saddle, and replied.
"Ok then. Let's take it in turns on the jumps first. You can go first, if you like. I want to see how well you ride. I might become a riding instructor once more people get sent to the stables. I'm sure that you are good, otherwise you wouldn't of been sent here."
She grinned, sitting in the saddle of her mare, and waiting for Sue to start.
Atropine grinned, and spoke once more.
"Ha, I'm sure you will be impressed, hun. They're all pretty nice, but I'm sticking with Solly. He's much more handsome."
She giggled, and felt Eleanor stroke her neck. She whinnied happily, and nuzzled the hand, before turning back to Star, and waiting.

Sitting tight on the top of my mare. With no saddle under me. I nodded my head to her, as I sat there. About to nudge her on. ANd then I turned and looked at Eleanor.
I know that I won't do so good at this. Since she is mostly trained to dressage. But hopefully she will remember what to do."
And once I finished speak to her. I nudged her into a canter. Feeling her moving neatly under me. Coming up to the first jump. She studdered for a moment. But only for a second. And she sored right over it. Not really arching her back since she is an arab. And their backs aren't really ment to arch over a jump. Since they were bred to run through deserts in races.
Walking over the land. I listened to the other mare speak. Hearing her words coming from her maw, as I walked at her side. "I will have to keep that in mind." I said as I looked at her. Feeling a nudge at my side, as I moved into a canter. Orbs looking around. Feeling my dagger tapped the ground strangely. Then jumping over the jump. But my back didn't arch so much, as I stood at the other side. Coming to a halt, as I looked aournd at the land.
